Temple Open House

It was a pretty incredible day when we heard that a temple would be built right here in Brigham City.  It has been so much fun watching the temple be built.  My kids have been looking forward to the day that they would get to go inside for a long time.  The first time we went through all of my family went, it was really fun to be able to go with everyone.  We had to do it late one night so everyone would be done with football. However I feel like we were rushed through, and we didn't get to look in the mirrors in the sealing room.

I decided I wanted to take the boys one more time before the dedication.  We went on Wednesday since it was early out day, I was hoping if we went early enough we would beat the crowds.  I am so glad we did because it wasn't very crowded at all.  I heard that later that night the line to get in was wrapped around the temple and it took forever.  I am also really glad we went, because I asked if I could show them the mirrors and it was a really special moment for me.  I love these boys with all my heart, and I am so glad that I will be their mom for Eternity.  It was a real testimony building experience for me, and I hope it was for them too.

I am so grateful to have a temple so close! Dallin brought it to my attention that when the Ogden temple is built they will get to see that temple as well.

The Greatest Show on Earth!

I love going to the circus! I think it is so much fun, my boys like it too!

I love Cam and Bryson's faces in this picture.  It makes me smile!
This was our favorite part of the circus.  We loved the motorcycles in the sphere.  I cannot remember how many motorcycles went in it, but Dallin is telling me it was 8.  I think he is right, that would be why you should keep your blog more up to date! It is much easier to remember things!

It was a fun day, hopefully we will do it again next year!

Flag Football

Camden was really excited to play football this year. I am always worried when Cam plays because he is just not very aggressive.  This year Neil coached Camden's team and I was really happy about that.  I think that helped Cam a lot and he did really well this year.

 Look at his blocking skills!

 AWWWHHHHHH He cracks me up!

The team picture was a little sad, almost half of the boys were sick for the last game, it was a bummer.
Dallin was a little sad when he found out Neil was going to coach Camden instead of him.  However he wasn't sad after he met his coach.  He was thrilled because he was a "real" football player and he played at USU.  Dallin thought that was awesome and his coach did a great job!

Dallin's team picture!
Bryson wants to be just like his bruders.  I love that he had to have a flag on. He is hiking the ball.

Too funny!

This was not posed by me, I was watching the game and I looked down and this is how he was sitting.

I am so glad I was able to take a picture without him moving!

The kids had great football seasons.  They both won a majority of there games and had a blast! I love watching them play sports too! With Dallin doing soccer and football we were pretty busy, but not as bad as it would have been if he did tackle.  I am so glad he didn't.  I love that they want to play, I am grateful they can participate in things, and I love that I get to go and cheer them on!

BE United

Dallin had a great time on his competitive soccer team.  This is our first year and first experience with competitive teams and I think it went really well.  I really like the boys on his team, and they a good time.

I once again didn't go a very good job of taking pictures at his games.  I did get a few, and I guess how many soccer pictures do I need.  I am kinda excited because a few of these are ones I was able to get from a video I took of his game.

It was so much fun to watch the progress these boys made during the season.  I was very proud of Dallin and his whole team.  It seemed each game Dallin would get a few more shots, I was just waiting for one to go in, and it finally did on the last game of the season.  He was so excited and so was I! His team finished in about the middle of the pack for the season.  Looking at the pictures I am excited for Spring Soccer to start, oh wait maybe not, we are currently doing Basketball and Indoor! Ha Ha.  That is what I get for getting so far behind! I am making progress though.

The Zoo

I am really out of order, but I still want to get this post on here.  This year school started on a Tuesday, so Sheri I decided we wanted one more day of fun before the kids went back to school. We took them to the zoo.  It was a perfect day to go, we left early in hopes that it wouldn't be too crowded and also that it would be cooler.  Our plan worked out pretty good!
Our troop! Garrett, Camden, Jackson, Bridger, Dallin, Bryson and McKenna.

Best buds!

Here are the kids watching the tigers, this turned out to be the highlight of the day! It was so fun to watch.  While we were standing up here, they let in 2 more tigers and they were walking right up by the fence the kids were standing by.

When we came around to watch them in the water we were in for some more excitement.
One tiger was already in the water and then when the other came to join his bath, it wasn't very happy.  They started growling at each other.  It was so exciting, I loved it!
Then the tiger came and swam right in front of the kids, it was so awesome.  You can tell by the excitement on Bridger's face.  It says it all!

We were all excited to see the new polar bear exhibit, and much to our dismay the bear was sleeping and not doing anything.  We had heard from several people how fun it is to watch, but I guess it wasn't our day to see him, but he still had a great day.

It was a great way to end our summer, we didn't do any big things, but lots of little fun stuff.

First Day of School 2012

I messed up the order on my blog, so we have Labor Day before First Day of School, darn it! I cannot believe I have a Third Grader, a First Grader and a Preschooler, time flies! All of my kids were pretty excited about going back to school, for the most part.  Dallin loves his free time, but he also thrives with more structure in his life.  Dallin was pretty excited for his teacher this year.  I am hoping for a great year for him! Camden has Miss Higgs and we absolutely love her so he was thrilled! Bryson is just excited that he is big enough to go to school too.

Dallin my handsome Third Grader

Thankfully he doesn't think he is too big for me to meet him at school on the first day.
Bryson wanted to sit in Dallin's desk and he wanted to bring his chocolate milk along.

I love this picture!

My ever so handsome First Grader

I love Cam's enthusiasm, if only we all had just a little bit of it! Here he is at the bus stop.

Getting on the bus, I loved the wave goodbye.

I follow the bus to school and then walk the kids into their class.
At his desk
Talking with Miss Higgs, I am so thrilled to have him in her class.  It makes having them at school all day so much better.
Bryson's preschool started the week after the other boys.  So I guess my post isn't completely out of order! He wanted to pose just like his brothers.
I could love on this face all day long!
Can he be any cuter? I didn't think so!
Hanging up his backpack while mom tries to smile!
Looking at his name on the floor.
He was so excited to stay and I didn't want to walk out the door! Miss Kim is one of his teachers and I have known her for a long time.  (I babysat her boys when they were little.) She came over and asked me if I was alright, pretty pathetic huh? I have to admit, my house is very quiet for those 2 hours.
